Chess School - Electronic Chess Computer by Millennium

Chess School is a compact chess playing computer that helps especially children practice and learn the game. It provides a tangible, hands on experience and does not require any screens or additional devices. This calms and develops a child's mind.

It includes a chess tutorial booklet, interactive exercises and voice output, for beginners and children. It's good for practicing what is learned at school or club.

The playing levels of Millennium Master II reach to an intermediate level or rating around 1750. In simple terms this will challenge 95% of chess players.

When no one is available to play chess, you can still play great games with the electronic chess computer! And you can adjust the level of play to suit yourself.

It will save the last game position (before switched off) to enable game to be continued.

The LCD display shows the entire surface and offers numerous help tips, functions, and tutorial programs. Each game can be played through at several different difficulty levels. Position verification, position set-up and move-cancelling functions available. Quick-response sensor board for easy and comfortable use.

Chess School offers a unique concept: The pieces and their permitted moves are explained in detail in the compact 196-page chess instruction book. Using the device’s interactive chess training function, you can try out the 100 chess exercises described in the book.

All menu and help texts can be shown in English or German. The instruction manual and the chess instruction book are included in English. The device’s features are rounded off by the voice output, which you can switch on if required. This warns you about strong moves made by the computer.

The play levels have a comprehensive range of settings, so that every player has a fair chance of winning. In the fun levels, the computer even deliberately makes mistakes.

How does this compare to the MIL800 (Chess Master II)?

The Chess Master II and the Karpov Chess School computer differ primarily in the game options they offer. While the Chess Master II goes beyond chess by including checkers and a variety of additional games, the Karpov Chess School computer focuses on chess-related game options like 30 Min, 5 Min Blitz, 'rated' game and more.  More information about these game modes can be found in the manual linked below.
