Excellent set. Good quality.

I was quite hesitant buying an expensive chess set, shipped across the world. But it was well packed and came in perfect condition, just a week after I ordered it.

The set itself is exactly what you'd hope based on the photos. The pieces are nice and solid, with a lot of detail. The battle scene under the glass looks awesome.

Makes a great coffee table center piece, that you can actually use.

I have been looking for a unique chess set for awhile that the prices were to big or to small and didn't feel cheaply made. This set is perfect. The prices are metal and velvet on the bottom so they don't scratch the glass board. The set up of the playing surface is amazing. You may need to reposition the runner circles on the towers that hold the glass board, but that easy. The board comes packed like Ace Venture is gonna delivery it. It has so many layers of packing to protect it that there is no way it can be damaged. Overall I am so very pleased with this set. It is gorgeous.
