Elegant appearance and real wood figures

Based on the already successful Genius Pro 2024 edition, the Wood Edition of the popular ChessGenius Pro chess computer offers high-quality, hand-crafted real wood pieces. With the elegant front panel and the chessboard in wood decor, the device has a more refined look.  The pieces offer a pleasant playing experience with the black piece felt and, thanks to the embedded magnets, prevent them from falling over when playing, which is particularly advantageous when on the move.

Versatile chess features

With an almost unlimited number of difficulty levels, the ChessGenius Pro offers the perfect challenge for players of all levels. 

The optimized, easy game levels allow beginners to experience success quickly. Particularly strong players can look forward to tournament levels with up to 2,200 ELO. A level with freely adjustable times, number of moves and time increment is available for maximum freedom.

The chess computer can save and reload up to 12 games, offers alternative computer moves, different playing styles and three options for opening books.

AI learning functions

The ChessGenius Pro can give up games or offer draws. The optional chess trainer warns of bad moves, offers to take them back and makes suggestions for better moves. This helps amateur players to learn new tactics and strategies.

The help button shows possible moves during the game - either for all pieces or just for the selected piece. Even the names of the openings played are shown on the display if desired, making it easier to learn the different variations.

Convenient operation

The 20x20 cm playing field with MILLENNIUM HighSensity pressure sensor technology ensures great fun. The high-contrast color display allows quick access to all functions. 

The PLAY button is used to easily start new games: with white, with black, in 2-player mode or from a specific position. The menu items are available in 14 different languages and have help texts to ensure simple operation without having to study the manual.

Flexible and mobile

The ChessGenius Pro works with batteries, NiMH rechargeable batteries or the optional mains adapter (item MIL811). It recognizes phases of non-use and automatically switches to power-saving mode. 

Thanks to the magnetic pieces and the cotton piece bag, the chess computer is ideal for traveling. The main switch on the back of the device allows the power supply to be completely disconnected so that the device can be easily transported.

ChessGenius Pro is based on the legendary ChessGenius software by Richard Lang, one of the most successful chess programmers of all time. The software supports 14 languages and offers a text-based menu system. The powerful processor delivers lightning-fast response times at all levels of play.
