Thank you, Chess House, for helping us be able to send off 250 chess sets in our shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Your chess sets are a perfect match to our homemade chess boards. After being inspired by the film Queen of Katwe we hope our boards make a difference in the lives of many children.
I purchased these pieces for a 12.5" folding board that I bought in Turkey a few years ago. It is a great set for the price, but they pieces seemed a little small for that board. That's just personal preference though, and I replaced them with a set of taller 2 7/8" weighted pieces.
I bought these pieces for my Pendleton Chess and Checkers Travel Roll-up set and they fit on the board and in the bag perfectly.
(Forgive me for I have not setup the board correctly in the images. I was excited to check the fitment)
They have some good weight for plastic pieces and the felt beneath will do well for grabbing my travel board. These should slide nicely on a wood board too.

Molded and shaped well nice. Bought as starter set for nephew to see how he takes to the game on 15x15"; 1and3/8" board I made for him..
Nothing great not bad. Disappointed there were not 4 queens
