Brass Art Deco Men

The pieces are lovely, a good weight and gorgeous design, I couldn't be more pleased with them. I'm giving a 4-star review because the packaging was such a mess. I still have tiny pieces of loose crumbled Styrofoam floating around my house just from taking the pieces out of the box they came in. Please, use something else (sustainable, perhaps?) to package these sets!

These pieces are well designed, except for the queen which is very close in design to the bishops. I would also like them to be a bit heavier, but they are OK. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase.

Okay, I have one other metal set. It too is cool, but this one is playable and beautiful. For me, it represents an nice change from the Staunton sets. No matter how different they try to make them, they're all basically the same. This one is different, exciting, well made and nicely finished. The pieces are not heavy, but they play nice. I am please with this purchase. They look WAY cool!

Meets and all expectations. Purchased the set as substitute to the traditional set, as a change sometimes when playing. Now it has become the favorite to use and the traditional set is the substitute. Looks and feels great. Wished that there was more difference between the design of the bishop and the queen (easy to make a costly mistake during a game because of the similarity).

These pieces are absolutely stunning! They feel great to play with, and they look beautiful on the board. We have a Jatoba and Holly board and these look amazing on it. The only thing I don’t absolutely love is that the queen doesn’t have a strong defining feature. Maybe a small crown?
