Board shows a reddish wood in the main image. Physical board is a dark brown without a hint of red. While the board is nice, and otherwise as advertised, a new image is needed.
The board was shipped with care in its original box, surrounded by a larger box with plenty of packing peanuts. It arrived in pristine condition with no marks or scuffs, and all edges and seams are precise. For my first board, I'm very happy. (photo shows my own chess pieces not included)
I looked high and low for a good looking 2 1/8" chessboard.
It looks much better than on the website. and my wife doesn't want me to take it off my desk. She says to keep the pieces on it since it looks so elegant.
Great personal service too.
