The set came in a thick plastic bag, tightly packed, inside a cardboard box. The tight packing prevented the pieces from moving around, all of them look great. Pieces are well proportioned and properly weighted. The style is a matter of taste — these are the chess pieces I grew up with, and I love it
These pieces are a stylish, simple, and sturdy. They are weighted well and feel great in the hand. I am sure I will get years of enjoyment from them.
