It's a 4 player chess mat as advertised. I have a club set that I got a long time ago and ordered this and two half sets to pack together. I'll likely get a 3 player chess mat when I can.
Was very good quality for the price. Happy with the purchase. Wish it had been packaged just a bit more carefully though as there was some minor creasing when I received it. Good product though
They sent me a normal sized chess board instead of the 4 player and then didn’t reply to my emails concerning the matter.
Color and size variations would have been nice.
The squares are extremely tiny. It's very inconvenient to use tournament style chess pieces as they barely have any room. The entire board is cluttered and pieces are constantly being k locked around and hard to use.
Other than the size, the actual board is of a nice quality.
I recently received this 4 Player Chess Board as part of a multi-item order from Chess House. When I enquired about getting the larger sized board (26" x 26"), I was told they only stocked the 24" x 24". The order was delivered well packed and in perfect condition. However, it should be pointed out that , though this board is of excellent quality, the board size is not optimal for standard 3" 3/4" chess pieces. The board looks cluttered and piece are regularly knocked over during play. The squares are 1" 5/8" approx. (40mm). Perhaps it is just personal preference, but I would recommend this board be paired with 3" 1/2" sets, or even 3".
