Beautiful set.

Disappointed

The chess pieces and board arrived with the corner of the board broken on two places. It was a gift for my son so I felt bad for him. We are going to try to glue it back together.
He loves the set just disappointed that it was broken.

I bought replacement pieces before buying the set so I knew what it would look like. Delivery was so fast that I was out of town when it arrived. Fortunately fedex held it for me in their nearest store. The sculpting is highly detailed and the pieces are attractive. One downside for some players might be the similarity in colors between the two sides. Also, the pieces arrived packaged in foam, which protected them. However, when I tried to slide the foam back into the box for storage, one of the queens popped out, hit the floor and broke her head off. That was my mistake, not the fault of the seller.
